Star Harbor International Center is a mixed-use development located in the Hongkou area of Shanghai. The master plan comprises four contiguous blocks unified by a rooftop garden and a planted sky bridge 24 meters above grade. The roof garden connects the retail podiums while providing expansive views of the Huangpu River and the Pudong and Bund skylines.

Phase one of the development will contain twin towers, each 240 meters (460 feet) tall, on the southeast and northwest corners of the site. The towers are positioned and shaped for maximum views of the Bund and the Pudong vistas. One tower is all office while the other tower includes 21 floors of offices and 24 floors of luxury serviced apartments. Both towers have a penthouse clubhouse. The towers will have an iconic silhouette on the skyline.

At the base of the towers is a six-level retail podium (four stories above grade and two stories below). The podium houses a nine-theater cinema with a total of 1146 seats. A 300-seat Imax theater is also featured as part of the cinema complex. This will be an entertainment destination that also draws traffic to the retail mall.

To complement the cinema complex, the podium includes a rooftop garden with dining terraces and an outdoor amphitheater. The sky bridge joins the adjacent block with the major atriums of the retail base at the third level. Star Harbor International Center is a major transportation node with a subway connection at the first basement level and a 4,000 square meter (43,055 square foot) bus station on the north side of the site. The development will be accessible by public transportation and car. Parking is provided by a 1600-space garage on the lower three levels of the podium.
